This year, the 5th Annual Golf Tournament is being held at the Cedar Hill Golf Course with a shot gun start. In previous years, participants have given us feedback that the day is well organized and lots of fun, so we hope you will join us and see what all the buzz is about!
The format has been expanded to include both women’s and men’s Individual Play and Texas Scramble foursomes so everyone has a chance to be on the winning team and earn bragging rights. We hope you can join us by sending in a registration form to our office.
Thanks to the support of the many golfers and sponsors of last year’s Tournament, the Foundation was able to purchase a van to transport adults with developmental disabilities to volunteer in the community, participate in recreational activities and attend cultural and social events at various locations in their community.
This year, we are pleased to announce that the Victoria Men’s Wear Golf Association have pledged their support to our tournament and will be merging their golf tournament with ours to create an even better and more enjoyable event for participants.
We have set our goal this year to raise $15,000 toward the purchase of another vehicle to assist the Garth Homer Society’s Community Access Team in their successful recycling outreach program which benefits people with disabilities in Lesotho, Africa.
If you would like to register and join us on please go to the registration form and send the completed form to the Garth Homer Society:
If you are able to further assist our cause and sponsor a hole or perhaps become a major sponsor, kindly refer to the sponsorship information sheet.
Alternatively, if you would like to make a donation to help to reach our goal for the replacement vehicle for the Community Access Team, please go to CanadaHelps.com:

We are also adopting the Victoria Men’s Wear Golf Association Tournament’s successful “bring a prize, win a prize” practice to enhance our enjoyment of the post game festivities. We encourage you to attach your name or business card to the prize you bring.
If you have any questions please contact Anna McLauchlan on 475-2270 ext 224, or email fundraising@garthhomersociety.org
